Christian Servant

Week 5 Discussion 2

Over the past five weeks, we have been discussing various aspects of servant leadership. Thanks to Jesus, we have a wonderful example of servant leadership to follow and emulate. For this weeks’ discussion, please address the following question:

What is it about Jesus that makes him the ultimate example of servant leadership?

The Christian Servant

In this week’s readings, you learned about the Christian servant. To prepare for your Discussion, please read the following article:

McMahon, D. (2012). The “Christian” servant leader: An oxymoron? Journal of Management, Spirituality & Religion, 9(4), 253-274. Retrieved from the ProQuest database.

Read the article and consider how your leadership style aligns with that of a Christian servant. Be prepared to discuss how your leadership style might differ from a Christian servant leader in your organization and how you might apply this new learning to improve your leadership style.

Note: You will access this article from within the Walden Library databases.

It’s a known fact that there is a shortage of nurses in the country. This makes it difficult for nursing students to find a job when they graduate. That’s where I come in. I’ll help you write the best nursing essay possible, so you can graduate and start working as soon as possible.

In my experience as a nurse, I know what hiring managers are looking for in a new employee. I also know many of them personally. So whether you’re applying for an entry-level position at a local hospital or seeking placement at one of the top hospitals in the country, I can help you create an essay that will catch their attention and get your application to the top of the pile.

I have helped thousands of students just like you get hired by their dream company. In fact, I’ve even coached some students through multiple rounds of interviews, so they make sure they land their dream job! All it takes is one good essay to get started down this path.

As a Christian, I believe that service to others is at the core of my faith. I believe that a Christian should want to help those in need, and should take a leadership role in service to others.

First, one of the cornerstones of Christianity is Matthew 25:40: “And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ ” This means that when we serve others, we are actually serving God. A Christian should feel compelled by this passage to make service to others a priority because God has said that serving those in need is worth more than anything else in life.

Second, Jesus Himself was famous for serving others. In Luke 19:10 Jesus says, “For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.” This is an example of how a leader should serve those below him or her—by seeking out those who are lost or in need and helping them find their way.

Finally, Christians should be leaders when it comes to serving others because charity is at the heart of their faith. As James 2:14-17 says, “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has

In the Christian tradition, a servant is someone who works for someone else. They do not have power to make decisions about their work. They are a helper.

I think this idea fits nursing well. A nurse does not determine what kind of health care a patient receives. A nurse helps the patient get the care they need.

A servant does not get paid directly for their work. The master pays them. In the same way, a nurse is paid by the hospital, clinic or other health care organization where they work.

A servant has a duty to be obedient to their master. The servant is expected to follow orders given by the master without question and without hesitation. A nurse must also obey orders from their supervisor or boss without question or hesitation because it is in the best interest of their patients to do so.

As a Christian Servant, I would use the Bible to help me in my life. The Bible is full of information that can help you with your journey. It has everything from the creation of man to the death of Jesus. When I read the Bible, I feel like I am getting to know God better and understand his plans for my life. The best part about reading it is that it is written by people who lived thousands of years ago and still has relevance today!

In this book, there are many different stories about how God created man and woman in his image. It also tells us how he gave us our own free will so that we could choose what we wanted to do with our lives. It explains all kinds of things like why there are different races on earth or why some people believe in different religions than others. This book also gives great advice on marriage relationships between men and women as well as what happens after death to those who believed while they were living here on earth!

I think it’s really important for Christians to be able to use their faith when making decisions because it helps keep them centered on what really matters most which is not material possessions but rather the eternal life which only comes through Jesus Christ.</p>
