My aspiration has always been to become a nursing manager. The role of a nursing manager involves the capacity to direct, supervise and also the lead staff of a healthcare facility. The educational requirements required for an individual to become a nursing manager includes;

To achieve this, I am certain that my current capacity as a practicing nurse will have availed considerable experience that is needed for consideration to become a nurse manager before the lapse of 5 years. I would also consider enrolling for a master’s degree after completing my bachelor degree in nursing (BSN).  After the immediate completion of my master’s degree, I would enroll for the NCLEX-RN exam in order to obtain my nursing license. Finally, I will enroll in the necessary certifications that are required for the position of nurse manager (Wilkes, 2015). Throughout the 5 years, I will be still practicing part-time to ensure I have gained the required minimum of 5 years’ experience. Careers in nursing
